Edge Hockey Schools is proudly run by a family team with deep roots in the sport.

 

Jason Jaffray and Ashley Bresden are a brother–sister duo who grew up on the ice and went on to build successful hockey careers—Jason playing professionally and Ashley competing at the university level.  In their youth, both spent multiple summers working at Edge Hockey Schools while training for their upcoming hockey seasons. The connections, coaching experience, and passion they built during those years have stayed with them for more than two decades.

 

Michelle Jaffray, Jason’s wife, spent years traveling the world during Jason’s pro hockey career. Wherever they lived, Michelle found a gym and continued coaching gymnastics. Now based in Olds, she focuses on judging gymnastics and managing all the behind-the-scenes operations that keep Edge running smoothly.

 

Ryan Bresden, Ashley’s husband, also grew up playing competitive hockey. He played in the AJHL for the St. Albert Saints, then in University before becoming an elementary school teacher in the Edmonton area. Ryan continues to share his love of hockey through coaching and Edge Hockey Schools.

 

Together, the four owners bring decades of experience as athletes, coaches, and parents.

 

Their shared mission is simple:
