Edge Hockey is very please to launch two new hockey schools in South Calgary.

Edge has had the great pleasure of working with Jason Jaffray for the past 9 years now. When Edge Hockey launched the Niedermayer Hockey School in 2001 Jason then with the Kootenay ICE of the WHL joined our staff as an on ice instructor. Since then Jason has worked for us every summer. Even when Jason made his NHL debut in 2007-2008 (interesting against the Niedermayer brothers and the Anaheim Ducks) he still came back to work with us in the summer.. Edge will also be launching one of it's own hockey schools, which will run Aug 16-20 for a second week at Trico Centre. This school will be run with the exact same format and program as all our other schools. The huge benefit of this school is you will get to see a number of different NHL and AHL players throughout the week. Jason Jaffray has already committed to two days at this school, Craig Weller another of our headliners at his own school will be appearing for one day as well. Trico Centre (formally know as Family Leisure Centre) is newly renovated and expanded with another new ice surface. Trico Centre is located at 11150 Bonaventure Dr SE and you can see more about this facilty on their WEBSITE.

Trico Centre now features two NHL sized rinks, a massive fitness centre, pool, gymnasium, meeting rooms and much more. This will be the perfect location for an Edge Hockey School. The facility is great and we will be able to host all the programs of an Edge School right under one roof. There are amazing green spaces and fields all around Trico so we will be able to take our conditioning programs outside.
