Welcome to Edge Hockey. 2008 will be our 16th year in operation bringing you amazing hockey events. We have been hosting hockey schools and camps in Canada and the USA since 1993.
There are many factors that elevate Edge Hockey Schools and Conditioning Camps above the rest.
- The volunteer involvement from our NHL players, coaches and clubs is one of the factors we are most proud of. You will be hard pressed to find a school that has more involvement from their headliners. Our schools and camps that have names of players or clubs on them boast involved daily. For example at the Niedermayer school in Cranbrook you will see Rob and Scott daily. They are committed to giving back to the community and youth hockey.
- With out a doubt our greatest strength is our qualified, energetic and caring staff. A lot of schools have a big name player who comes in once throughout the week and that is it. Our player hosts are at the school all week and will be on the ice instructing the participants. At our schools you have quality staff whom your child will spend their time with. When choosing a school it should not matter who will sign their jersey, but instead focus on the staff that will instruct, care for and make your child's week an amazing one.
- We run professional events that are extremely well organized to maximize your time, effort and investment. We don't have wasted time at Edge schools and camps.
- Rich Hesketh is what puts our Calgary conditioning camps above the rest. Rich developed the conditioning training program, combining his 15 years of experience with the latest training knowledge and techniques. He is the strength and conditioning coach with the Calgary Flames and Jarome Iginal swears by his programs.
- Jason Jaffray is the leader of our on ice camp in Cranbrook and you will not find a more dedicated player than Jason. He will make the difference in your off season training.
