The 2012 Edmonton Edge Hockey School is now open for registrations. The School will be held Aug 13-17, 2012 in Edmonton, AB. 

 At Edge Hockey our professional, caring and knowledgeable staff set us apart from other hockey schools. Edge Hockey works with professional hockey players and coaches in the NHL, College and Junior leagues to ensure your child gains the most knowledge and skill in a positive and enjoyable atmosphere.

Our goal remains delivering a top notch hockey school in an environment of respect and fun. So for the 16th year we will be hosting a school in Edmonton; we are exceptionally well organized, with qualified, skilled staff and a mission to be, simply the best.

Our Program

Our Program is open to male and female players aged 6 - 14 all levels. Players are grouped according to their skill level. Start times are between 7:30 - 10:00am and end times are between 4:30 - 6:30pm. Each group has about an 8 hour day.

Daily each group has: a morning ice session for 1 hour 15 minutes, an afternoon ice session for 1 hour 15 minutes, 1 hour of off ice conditioning, 1 hour of read & react, 1 hour of cross training or pool time, 30 minutes of hockey Talk and 30 minutes for lunch. Location

The Edmonton Edge Hockey School will be held at the Kinsmen Twin Arenas (1979 - 111 Street) in Edmonton for 2012.

Mill Woods Recreation Centre our home since 1995 is closed for renovations the summer of 2012. The Kinsmen facility will be a great location for this summer and we are excited about the change. The Kinsmen facility has two NHL size arena 2 NHL size arenas, pool, restaurant, mulit purpose rooms, tennis courts (used for off ice training), fields and much more.

Kinsmen Twin Arenas

Check-in

Check-in will take place at the Kinsmen Twin Arenas from 4:00 - 5:00pm, Sunday August 12th. This is a very short process and provides a chance for each participant and their parents to meet their Team Leader & Junior Leader.You will receive your schedule, jersey and all details you will need for the week ahead. Jersey cresting will be available for an additional fee.

Fun Friday

Friday will be the final day of the hockey school and is a great day for parents to come and witness the skills that have been learnt throughout the week. This is a fun day for parents, children and staff alike. Your child's schedule is the same but during the afternoon ice time the children will be playing a game to showcase their talents.

Cost & Registration

Cost of registration for the hockey school is $449.00 + GST (includes jersey)

Edge Hockey School's require full payment OR a $100.00 deposit at the time of registration.

Please indicate on the registration form if you are making a full payment or a deposit. All registrations must be paid in full by June 1, 2012. Note: If you pay the deposit with a credit card you will be automatically charged the remaining balance on June 1st 2012.

Receive a $15 discount for each additional child registered in the same family.

Cancellation Policy: Participants may cancel their enrollment in a school 60 days prior to the start of that school or camp; they will be given a full refund minus a $50.00 administration fee. NO cancellations other than medical will be accepted with less than 60 days notice before the start of a school or camp, there are no exceptions to this policy. Medical cancellations with less than 60 days notice must be accompanied by a doctor’s letter and are subject to the $50.00 administration fee.
